Description
This may be the first in a series. I haven't yet decided whether I'm going to do that or not though.Anyways, This was designed and rendered in Apophysis 2.06 3d, and post work and border was added in the GIMP
As usual I'd really appreciate hearing your thoughts on it

I seem to find the DOF a bit overpowering in some areas of the image, maybe try lowering it just a bit next time

Now this is very cool, Mike. A very nice ocean view with jelly fish. The colors are very nice and fit. Composition is great as well. I just don't like the Depth of Field, though. For example, you have that orange jellyfish on the left side that's really blurry, but in the lower right-hand corner, there's a yellow jellyfish that looks similarly close, but more fine. The same thing applies for the background jellyfish. It's a little distorted, in my opinion.
I'd like to see a second part to this, though! Keep it up, dude.

I do agree with you about the DOF, it's a bit strong. The perspective is also kind of distorted which, I think, causes an odd effect.
