Description
So that ends the flashback scene! Now you know what exactly was involved in weaponizing Mecha Sally. It explains why her appearance looks so different from Sonic #234 onwards; Eggman fitted her with robotics and incinerated her original parts. So this raises the obvious question: What do you think will happen to Sally in the future?

Something similar happened to Bunnie, right? Without the horror aspect I mean. Of course the Bem were able to undo that, but I don't count on alien super science to solve every problem.
Ah, so Snively is still bubbled here. Rather surprised Eggman still bothers with him. You'd think showing off how happy Regina is with faux-Snively would be punishment enough. Of course, never let it be said Eggy doesn't pour salt on wounds.

From a writers perspective, Ian intentionally had Eggman weaponize Sally so she'd have her reboot look in the later issues. But if Glitcher hates the reboot look (as least that the impression I got), then I dont think Sally is returning in the way we all assume.

What do you think will happen to Sally in the future?
I believe that nothing critical will happen. In the current state of these limbs - just designed in another form pieces of metal. As far as I can tell, the core and the elements responsible for controlling the body have not been replaced. And this is the main point. So with derobotisation, new limbs will accept data from the core and “adapt” to the base of the body. As a result, Sally's clothes will change mostly.
I am optimistic.

The best we can hope for is for the FF to turn her back to sort of Bunnie's state, deroboticize all her vital parts and keep the dubious gifts from Doctor.
