Ah, the pixelated dissipation after the death of a minor boss. How I've missed you!
I'm divided here. On the one hand, I'm certainly glad this battle didn't drag on any longer... but that sure was a lot quicker than they usually do it in the comics. Should I be happy we can move on with the story or disappointed that the Tails Doll wasn't as difficult to flatten as it seemed? I mean, we've been waiting years to see how this plays out and it's done in 4 pages. A bit anticlimactic, really. Rewarding, but sad.

Fair point. I realize four pages is a bit spartan, but it was a conscious decision for a number of reasons:
- This issue runs pretty long already. I mentioned on the next page that some elements had to be abbreviated to keep the page count at a manageable level.
- This is a weekly webcomic. Unlike Archie Sonic where you can read the whole issue at once, new pages only come once a week here, which means that the time it takes to complete a fight scene lasts much longer. I've read other weekly webcomics where fights last for months because the creator hasn't trimmed the scene for his chosen medium.
- The Tails Doll has no real personality, so this doesn't amount to any significant 'conflict' in the story. It's just a typical 'fight' in the basest sense. So while this is a long time coming, you have to ask yourself: Is this really worth stretching out?
Regardless of the length, I felt it was important to give everyone something to do so that no one feels redundant. Even Froggy and Cheese get some panel time. Taking down the monster was a team effort and I believe this fight shows it.

Ya know, a thing I liked about the Archie comics is how Flynn was able to give each robot their own tone. Omega had a thirst for destruction, while Heavy here sounds like a british gentleman

I got an unusual number of comments on my stream when I drew this page, panicking over Froggy's fate. People were more concerned for Froggy than anyone else on the team.

Heavy seems a smidge different persona wise. That said, I'm still miffed Ian didn't keep them in the Post-Genesis. Probably cause he'd have to rework their personality.
