Well in the leaf, there is a closeup of a girl staring...then under that there is a smaller man. I would be surprised if you even saw him.

yea color is a very subjective thing, I think the basic trend is to either be a bit limited using two or three fitting colors or just go crazy and use them all at once, I think its really difficult to mix four or five colors effectively, I really like how you use the massive amount of lines in your backgrounds though, its a good signature move that reminds me of television disortion a bit, I'd say maybe experiment with massive amounts of color, or not just a thought

The lines in the background (pixel stretches as I call them) are the corner edges of scans of geodes (those crystally rock things) repeated over and over. I went Ctrl+J crazy in Photoshop, basically. Ironically enough I actually did experiment with massive amounts of color. Well, not really "massive" but more "lots of lines of color" in my deviation Past Calculation. I was making it while a friend was visiting and she was very clear in stating she didn't like the colors. Hehe. But hey, I hear enough about people not liking stuff at work...my hobby is freedom no bounds. Maybe I'll attempt lots of colors without using stripes. Hmmm. Cheers!
