just imagine the damage an overcharged claw could do to armor, and since pegasi technically have control over the weather anywhere they wish, they could create a sustained mini-lightning cloud on the blade gauntlets to overcharge the gauntlet's blades to the extreme, making night guards exceptionally lethal when they so wish.
the downside (cuz we cant have an OP guard, right?) to overcharge is a faint buzzing sound, which gets louder the more the gauntlet is charged up.
-being badass
-quick, lethal strikes
-attacking an enemy from more than one direction with lethal results(if you prefer using two gauntlets, compared to one)
-possibly cleaving a sword or spear in three/five
-be more aerodynamic than your friend, who is lugging a spear and shield or something
-flip somepony off with one blade
-dive bomb your enemies and slice them to meaty ribbons

No, actually the Fighter, Mage, and Theif dynamic has been in games (specifically RPGs) long before destiny.
Most of Equestria-Prevails' work oddly reminds me of the Warcraft games actually.

I didn't mean to Imply that Destiny was the only one to have that mechanic. It was just at the time, Destiny's Release was near. (Either that, or I had played the Beta.) Because of that, It was at the forefront of my thoughts, rather than other examples.

I also wouldn't think that Destiny would come to mind when I see this picture, mostly because they are not wearing powered armor or carrying modern and sci-fi guns. I would also think of other examples but Warcraft seems to stand out for me whenever I look at most of Equestria-Prevails' artwork because of his fantastic medievalesque settings and his reoccurring Orcs and Humans (Ponies and Griffons in this case) theme as well as the occasional inclusion of old guns alongside knights in armor.
But hey, everyone has their perspective.

These are some really neat character designs, especially with regards to the color palettes. Color theory I've noticed is something that a lot of amateurs never seem to get right.
By the way, are these pictures for a fanfic or something, or are they just something to provoke our imagination and come up with our own little headcanons?
