The middle one is an Equestrian warrior, the right one is a Batpony warrior, but what's the one on the left supposed to be?

Perhaps a royal mage? All the Pegasus guards have that light complexion as the guy in the center. All unicorn guards have the same dark color. And, perhaps we're not dealing with types of guards, we're dealing with guard classes? For instance, left to right, is the Wizard, the Fighter, and the Rogue!
