Now we get into the northern kings where the story lines move very quickly. So here is Nadab, the son of Jereboam, of whom it only says that he only reigned two years and while besieging the Philistine city of Gibbethon, was assassinated by one of his own captains, Baasha, the next king. And so begins several iterations of this cycle: kill the previous guy, become king, rule a little, get whacked yourself. And that wraps up ole Nadab.

Visually, I gave him some of Jereboams accoutrement, in his ears so its subtle, but otherwise made him forgettable, because that is somewhat how the text plays out.
