Description
Samson (meaning Sun) falls hard for Delilah (meaning night), who tricks him into giving up the secret of his strength. Even though he tried toying with her, his pride and arrogance blinded him to see he was being used. In his blindness, he gives it all up and she enlists her Philistine men to shear his locks off. In that moment he gives up his gift, the one thing that set him apart to be used by God.As a side note, I opted for a kind of shear that has been found in Egypt and Babylon, which was indicative enough of a sort of scissor to apply to this scene.
