The live in groups/families... so what? So do Asian elephants, blue whales, mountain gorillas, dholes, mongoose lemurs, and Barbary Macaques. Y U NO CARE ABOUT THEM?

Please do not go against me, this is my opinion!
I honestly think wolves are strange, kinda disturbing creatures.
I once saw a wolf kill a bird, and It was trust me, very disturbing to watch.
Over the past two years I think...
I've grown a deep phobia of wolves.
I let my dog outside to go to the bathroom one night around 1 or 2 in the morning,
As I was hearing a strange noise.. In my backyard, I have a small forest.
As I turned to look toward the forest slowly, My dog began barking wildly.
My dog Is a mastiff, and Is very mellow, It is a rare occasion to see him barking like this.
So, as I was saying, I turned toward the small forest.
Right then, I had a sudden shock of fear.
There was about a pack of wolves in my backyard, staring me straight in the eyes.
My dog continued to bark for awhile. But, I was to scared to move.
I yelled my dongs name (Sidney) and he quickly turned to me. I opened the door to go inside and we
quickly rushed into the house, not mentioning the experience we had just gone through.
I peered through the window, to see that the wolves had come closer, In a small amount of time.
But, soon they had quickly rushed off, though.
Ever since that experience, when I let my dog outside, I always keep a good eye to make sure nothing happens to him.
I have also had another experience with a wolf where it had come surprisingly close to my dog.
Luckily, My dog is a great guard dog, so he easily scared it off in less than a minute.
But since the experiences, Whenever I see a wolf I completely freeze of fear.
Wolves haunt me in my sleep, with terrifying Images.
Most of my best friends love wolves, and tend to draw pictures of them constantly during school.
But, I've become to afraid to tell them about my phobia, because I fear that people will laugh at me,
for being scared of one little animal.
I hope you understand that this is my opinion, and that I respect yours too

I like them well enough, But you're entitled to your opinion.
How does one decide how one animal is better than another? Importance in the ecosystem? Size and strength? Intelligence? Judging by human morals and standards?
I don't think any animal is better in any way from another animal.
Therefore:
Wolves = blobfish
Wolves =leafy sea dragonΒ
But, say, if they were to unnaturally introduce hyenas or Dholes into Alaska they would be useless and probably devastating there, perhaps making the already existing resident wolves better? And vice versa if you introduced large grey wolves to Africa, hyenas would be the good guys for a change.

this is fantastic wolves are so overrated in the fact everyone fanfags about them & know little to nothing about them, their behavior or anatomy it's saddening the most I see is how the majority seem to think typical brave big bad wolf when in reality their rather dainty, skinny & skittish their a nice canine but I have to headdesk when I see "save the wolf" signs and their poster dog is a gawd damn malamute in front of a full moon lol...speaking of if they "LOVE" them so much why don't they care about the mexican wolf it's not doing so hot, as if they even know what that is
