You saw the famous Neko Café. You smiled at your job. It was so sugoi, as Dirk would say. Karkat hated it when you came home covered in cat hair but tonight you didn't care. You skipped happily to your job. Already to cuddle and kiss your other boyfriend.

-Karkat POV-

I looked at the time, 10:55 p.m.. I sighed and leaned against the sofa as the depressing ending credits song played. Ugh! _____ makes me so fucking angry, that damn nooksniffer. If (she/he) didn't want to watch the fucking Notebook with me, why did (she/he) even fucking bother. I peaked at the time again, 11:05 p.m..

That was it! (She/He) was taking way too long!

10 minutes later...

Dammit! I called everybody and nobody's seen (him/her). Where the fuck did (she/he) fucking go?! 'Did... did (he/she) really leave me? No way!' There had been a few nights where she would leave but (he/she) hasn't left for this long. Maybe someone at her job has seen (him/her). I called (his/her) job, a little part of me hoping (she/he) was there.

"Konichiwa~! Thank you for calling the Neko Café~! This is Shion!" the girl greeted. "HEY,... UM... I'M CALLING ABOUT _____. IS SHE THERE BY ANY CHANCE?" "Hai! (She/He) is!" Karkat sighed in relief. "ALRIGHT." he hung up, grabbed his jacket, and started walking to the café.

-3rd POV-

Karkat walked down the street and saw the café. Shion pointed towards the side where you could sit with the cats. Karkat saw _____'s form crouched with the cats. _____ turned around holding a big, fluffy grey cat. Karkat frowned. "_____, WHAT IN THE DISEASED BUGLE FONDLING FUCK ARE YOU DOING?" he asked. It was now _____'s turn to frown. "I am playing with someone who appreciates my company. Isn't that right, Karkitten?" (she/he) said scratching the cat's ear earning a deep purr. Karkat was silent as _____ continued to scratch Karkitten.

"...KARKITTEN?"

"Yes. He's a lovable cuddle muffin who will never yell or call me names!"

"_____... IT'S A FUCKING CAT."

"So are you."

"I AM NOT!! THOSE THINGS ARE ANNOYING, THEY SHED, AND THEY'RE ALWAYS FUCKING THINGS UP!!!!"

"So are you."

Karkat growled. You had a point.

"_____. YOU CAN'T FUCKING REPLACE ME WITH A CAT."

"I can do whatever I want and it's not like you care. And at least Karkitten won't force me to watch crappy romcoms and cry at the kiss scenes."

Karkat turned his candy shade of red. Him? Not care about you? He sighed heavily and sat next to you, turning away.

"LISTEN _____. I KNOW WE HAVEN'T SEEN EYE-TO-EYE TONIGHT... OR HELL, EVEN MOST OF THE TIME BUT YOU SHOULDN'T LIE AND GIVE PEOPLE THE WRONG IDEA."

_____ frowned and opened (her/his) mouth to say something but was quickly interrupted.

"LET ME FINISH, NOOKSUCKER!"

_____ huffed but sat quietly.

"JUST BECAUSE I DON'T SHOW THAT MUCH APPRECIATION TOWARDS YOU DOESN'T MEAN I DON'T CARE, FUCKASS."

_____ peeked at Karkat. He looked genuinely honest.

"BESIDES, IF I DIDN'T CARE ABOUT YOU, I NEVER WOULD'VE CONFESSED MY RED FEELING TOWARDS YOU, WE NEVER WOULD'VE BECOME MATESPRITES, AND WE SURE AS HELL WOULDN'T BE HAVING THIS FUCKING IDIOTIC CONVERSATION AT MIDNIGHT IN THIS DISGUSTING, FLEA RIDDEN, HEALTH CONCERN OF A CAFE YOU SO STUPIDLY DECIDED TO WORK AT!!"

The place was silent, even some of the leftover customers had quit their conversations to stare at you two. _____ stared at Karkat for awhile.

"WHAT ARE YOU-!" _____ tackled Karkat to the ground. _____ pressed (his/her) lips on Karkat.

"Flushed for you, Karkles."

"FLUSHED FOR YOU TOO, FUCKASS."

"OTP! OTP! I ship it so hard!"

"So, you guys gonna fuck or what?"

"FUCK YOU DIRK!!!!" you shouted making the anime obsessed man flee for his life.

Karkat smiled and squeezed his little fuckass a little tighter.
