Some member states of the CSCN. The CSCN is a confederation, and though it has a federal army and navy, the member states within it still field their own respective militaries.

New Athens, despite the name, is neither greek, and despite the armor, is also not Italian. Some 80 years ago they started leaning more into their namesake and adopted more classical inspired architecture and military structure. After an invasion by the empire and liberation at the end of the war, the re-adopted that same classical inspired vibe. Being the Capital world of the CSCN, they are one of the wealthiest, and spanning 4 different systems, as well as extra-solar mining stations, they can afford some more expensive gear. THeir military is also well trained and prepared for war.

Hoplites however, adopting similarly the same classical inspiration as New Athens, has a well supplied army, but has been mocked for having only a 'Parade Army'. Having a force who has not really seen combat ever, and the few battles they have seen, could be best described only as mere small skirmishes. Unlike New Athens, however; Hoplites is in fact made up ethnically of a large percentage of Greek heritage.

Velegne is an agricultural system, that at one point had a much larger army, until downsizing it immensely after joining the CSCN. Now it only stands as a token SDF in the wake of the secession war against the Varnim Pact.

Concordia, also an agricultural world, has a sizeable military arm. It's training is moderate, but poorly equipped. Despite its equipment problems, its gear is arguably still better than the CSCN federal army. Concordia boasts a large military industrial center on its world, selling arms and equipment to many innie states.

Seva is a mars-like world. Not having any agricultural centers to speak of,t hey are extremely reliant on imports from Concordia and Velegne. Their military force is a token SDF, and they earn their living by selling their raw minerals to other CSCN states or corporations.
