Terran MRE types. They come in the single MRE packs, or the much more sought after 2-Day survival kit that comes with 4 meals, and additional blocks of protein, cereal bars, and trail mix. The 2 Day survival kit though would mostly be found in special operations groups though the regular army would be able to access them still commonly.

-The block of protein is a extremely filling meal substitute for high caloric requirements from combat or field combat and exercises. One bar according to the Office of Servicemember Health and Nutrition can replace up to three meals of a soldier, and 4 if stretched out. Its used in extreme circumstances when rationing is required to make the normal rations last longer, usually for special operations fighters behind enemy lines.

-Cereal bars are fiber dense, usually coming with a chocolate coating.

-Additional loose bags of trail mix are thrown into the survival kit for additional variety in protein, as well as nutrition from the dried fruits inside.
