Well they're both Terrans, so not really hearts and minds, but it was brought up in my discord, and I couldn't get that title out of my head

During the invasion of Halle, mass efforts to evacuate the civilian population or get them to shelters was undertaken. thousands of frightened people once again saw their home planet under siege from the same enemy as before. The scarring of their world still not fully healed over.

Darin Helmar is showing one of the locals the Terran helmet for the Army. (In the early stages of the war, most army units didn't have the masks commonly seen later on. It was the Marines at that time that were seen as the only ones that really needed an airtight helmet for operations in space. But soon, the helmets were issued to everyone except Planet-guard units, making the clear distinction between active frontline soldiers, and the rear guards.) Keeping morale up for people, especially those with impressionable minds is something he holds close to his heart. The last thing anyone wants is horrific memories of thousands of people panicking and screaming as they trample over others to get into tightly packed shuttles, or into the dark abyss of the shelters like so many were during the first war.
