Description
In the initial stages of the war, many fledgling nations chose sides in the conflict, weather it was siding with the Terran Federations' coalition of systems against the Empire, or swearing feilty to the imperial banner. One such of these nations was a small agricultural nation. Having declined the imperial offer of vassalage long before, and falling victim to the deceit of some neighboring coalition leaning nations, the small Republic made a decision that would ultimately be its downfall in a short and overwhelming invasion.

In an insult to the empire and a rejection of their hand of vassalage, the nation announced their allegiance to the Federation. Only 2 months afterwards, the imperial navy was on their doorstep, and only days after, the landing ships touched down, unleashing the hordes.

Diane was left for dead almost as soon as they announced their allegiance to the coalition. The Terrans would not come to them, and neither would the coalition. A dead in the water planet that became another small footnote in the imperial history books.
