April 4 1941.
With the winter of 1940 up until April of '41 becoming ground to a near halt in terms of military movements, the Eucadians and Galbanic armies built up on the border. It became the phony war as almost nothing happened. At 2200 hours on the 4th, the invasion began. Thousands of paratroopers being dropped from the sky into Galbany proper, while the armored corps of the Eucadian Empire blitzed into Galbanic Occupied Eucadia.

The platoon landed without much issue, except for the Corporal wounding herself by landing on her leg wrong, and the radioman in squad 2 fucking breaking his radio. Otherwise it was out smoothest landing. I mean we've done it two times prior, so we were pretty prepared on what was coming. My god the skies were lit up with flak though. Was an explosion for just about every star. .
