"Legionaries of the Eucadian Empire! For too long have the Kurvidic Legion and their Dark Elf masters rampaged through our lands! For too long have our people suffered at the countless atrocities committed by these Black Legions! For too long has this war raged! Nearly an entire generation has grown up not knowing what peace is. Not knowing what the Empire of old was. We change that today! Not only do we fight for our lands, or our homes, but now for our families! The Legion is at the Citadel's doorstep. We are all that stands in their way!-"
The general continued his speech. His ranks silent before him other than the small whispers and murmers of the frightened soldiers.

"Hey..." The legionary next to her muttered, before lightly elbowing her.

She barely turned her head to acknowledge him and nodded slowly.

"I got a wife waiting for me back home.. You?" He whispered.

She didn't respond.

"I'm sorry.. talking removes the nerves.. ya know? I-I just thought-"

"Sera." She said cutting him off.

"Huh?"

"My daughter. Her name's Sera." She said bluntly

"That's a good name.." He sighed. "I have almost had a child too.. But.." He stopped mid-sentence

She knew what he was feeling. She felt it too. "We have all felt the sting of the Legion's hand.." She said, "It's not what has happened that we should worry about. The past is the past. It's what we do now that defines us."

"For Sera then." he said, smiling under his mask.

"For Sera...." She said, hushed as the General had just finished his speech.

The Horns of war had sounded...
