Commission for
As with her previous "Wreck-it Ralph" epic, "King Glitch" (nikki-nicole-p.deviantart.com/… ), she wanted an Epic Cover Pic for its sequel, "Missing Pieces". This time around, I hit on the idea I wanted more quickly, and ran with it pretty much non-stop from start to finish. As a result, I actually think I'm happier with this than almost anything else I've done in the last couple months, and I hope she, and all of you, feel much the same.

As I told , I've simply adored getting to use the pixellation effect ever since I first discovered it, so I couldn't very well pass up the perfect opportunity to do so here, could I? <3
Anyway, glad you like the pic! I have a certain...passion for Poster-style compositions like this, ever since I was just a kid, so it's always a treat to get to try my hand at them, especially for the sake of a friend and their awesome story. ^3^

Actually, "Wreck-it Ralph" is Walt Disney Animation, not Pixar (though John Lassetter did executive-produce). x3 Glad you liked it, though.

Absolutely perfect.
I just love this from top to bottom - the main five bursting from the Chews Your Racer screen, the pixelation revealing Turbo, Candybug, and the twins, the soft dilute colors on the Unlocks, and the strong, confident poses of the Core Four. King Candy's half-cheery, half-apprehensive, trying-for-confidence look is just amazing as well, excellently done, and I love the wy the lines and the arrangement of the characters pull the eye down and around.

Heh...the one thing more satisfying than finishing this pic? Knowing its intended recipient loves it to pieces. MISSING pieces, that is. 8B
But seriously, thank you, I'm so glad you like it! I'm especially glad you're OK with how the colors came out; I dislike what these scans do to 'em, so it's really nice to know some of the intended effect still makes it through. That said, I can't wait to show you the actual, physical piece.... ;3

Oh wow, this really came out great! The layout and arrangement of everything really works well, and I especially love the pixellated disintegration around the racers. The posing of the different characters is also nicely expressive and very well done!

Ever since I first played with it in my Christmas pic for a couple years ago (gojira007.deviantart.com/art/B… , I have loved getting to use the pixellating effect in WiR pics. It is just so much fuuuuuuuuuuun! So glad you like it, thank you for the lovely comment. ^3^
