Description
Part 12 of the EPIC HALLOWEEN PROJECT. This one comes a bit later than intended; it should've been the first picture to come after "Family and Friends", but I forgot to upload it when I got back online. Oh well. Here we see the heroes of Earth assembled together!Charmy Bee = Chiaotzu

I considered that, honestly, but Khan felt the better fit in the end; in terms of personality and relation with the other characters, he and Yamcha seemed to have more in common overall than Vector. Plus, I felt Khan'd make a better looking Yamcha. X3;

Y'know, I think the pick of Antoine for Kulilin was extra nice... Because he went a similar character development route to Antoine; starting out as backing out of real danger despite boasting, but matured and took levels in badass. (Also, both started out as more or less plain comic relief and were allowed to grow into something else with time.)

Actually, I DON'T like Khan much, but Yamcha is my personal favorite character in "Dragonball"; mind you, I'm talking about "shy of girls but a lovable rogue" Yamcha, not "getting kamikaze'd by a Saibaman is his most significant contribution to the story" Yamcha. lD;
And yes, I was very careful with my pick of who would be Kuririn; I felt Ant's character arc in Archie matched up nicely with him, AND it gave me a chance to please my inner-shipper by making him the guy who winds up marrying Android #18, who I'd already decided was going to be Bunnie. ^_^

Yeah, that Yamcha I like, too. I think it was a shame to push him to the sidelines like that. But then I think it was a shame to abandon the "walking the Earth" concept, too.

"Dragonball" is, in a lot of ways, far superior to "Dragonball Z", in my humble opinion, and part of the reason why was because it did a far better job making sure at least SOME characters other than Goku made significant contributions to the plot. I rather loved the DBZ Jump special, "Yo! Son Goku and his friends return!" because it manages to take the best of both the original "Dragonball" and "Z" and fuse it together in a way that GT tried to do but failed miserably at. ^_^

Yes, that too. I think all of these things are why I like One Piece; it picked up a lot of elements I liked in DB and doesn't make Luffy's crew satellites to him, but part of a team.
I don't think I've read that special... And yeah, GT didn't fare well. >_>

For me, "One Piece"'s greatest strength, similar to but significantly more pronounced than "Dragonball"'s, is its divine blending of incredibly dynamic action scene with hilariously over-the-top comedy bits, tied together by a fantastic cast of vibrant characters and the relationships between them. AND YES PLZ DUIT! POST PICS OF YOUR EPIC COSPLAY FOR ALL TO SEE IF IT HAPPENS, TOO!!!
And yes, "Cross Epoch" is also
