GODZILLA, KING OF THE MONSTERS!

The big G turned 56 this year, so of course I had to do something in honor of November, A.k.a Godzilla month. I celebrated November 3rd by watching Gojira, but I didn't get around to doing a drawing for awhile. After neglecting to do a Godzilla drawing for a whole month due to numerous family birthdays, Thanksgiving, and general laziness, I decided I would draw something before the month ended.

The drawing took me about 2 hours to finish, and it took me 4 hours to color and tweak it in Photoshop. Unlike my Monsters of the day, I actually put a good amount of work into coloring this one. I used the original Shodai Goji suit for inspiration. All in all, I believe this is one of my best drawings yet.
