The Earth Shaking Monster Golza! One of Tiga's two enemies from his first episode, he will be appearing in the next update to our game, along with his Sky Rending friend Melba. After finishing Ultraman Tiga we decided that not only was it our favorite Ultraman series (and possibly favorite TV show) but that we needed more Ultraman Tiga representation in our game. Only problem with that is there aren't really many Ultraman Tiga kaiju sprites, but that certainly wasn't going to stop us!

Golza was an obvious choice because he's one of Tiga's first enemies, we already have Melba sprites ready to accompany him, he fought the Titan of Light twice, and because he's just awesome! The super ancient monster will be in the game in both his normal and fire forms. Normally I'm not too fond of "Godzilla Cosplay" sprites as I call them, but Golza is a monster that works well based off of the Godzilla Kaiju Daikessen sprites. I'm not as good as my little brother with sprite work but I'm happy with how he turned out. I would love to see some other people make full Kaiju sprite sheets, the more monsters in GUG the merrier!
