December

Age: 17
Race: Half-demon
Hair: Gold
Eyes: Purple
Additional Notes: Dark-skinned, with a pair of white horns tipped with gold, gold wings, and a slender gold tail; his lower legs are covered in gold scaling, and end in hooves.

December (Des, or Ember) came about either by the Machiavellian designs of an evil cult or simple dumb luck, and was worshipped as an earthbound god until government scrutiny caused the cultist to hide him very unsuccessfully in a hayloft. He was very shortly thereafter found screaming for food by the owners of said hayloft and sent off to be raised by rich relative in the city (farm people are remarkably welcoming towards strange babies they find abandoned on their property, apparently). Given his appearance and entry into the world, December was remarkably happy for most of his life, until his caretaker died. He then took to the streets, not because he didn't have any money or a place to stay, but simply because he didn't have anything else, really, to -do-. He eventally joined Guinevere Angeni, paranormal investigator, when she was forced to investigate him, and he takes his payment in the form of room and board. It's probable she doesn't realize that December has a very healthy bank account reciving large yearly payments until he turns 21 (when he'll get it all).

December is enthusiastic boy that seems to take nothing in life seriously, and act on any whim. He adores weapons and explosions and is generally the one in charge of whatever weaponry a certain job calls for -- even if it's as simple as holy water. His attitude may make him appear dumb, but December is exceptionally intelligent and very compassionate, though he is shy about showing that side of himself. He cannot hide the way he looks, and so usually wears concealing clothing if he needs to be seen by people that aren't used to his appearance. He's sensitive to any religious symbol that has been blessed and handles such things with gloves, as well as testing any batch of holy water Guin might get in.

Anyhow. Just a couple of little sketches of de demon. He's half-incubus, so his design was heavily influenced by succubi from World of Warcraft. His thighs are supposed to be a bit shorter than I would usually make them due to the nature of his legs, which are so much fun and yet so fucking hard to draw at the same time. XD The piccu on the right is him waiting outside a church for Guin (he can't go in), but I don't think I positioned his legs right for him to honestly look like I want him to... oh well. XD I like him. I think he's cute. You can blame his hawk+ponytail on [link] by =Titanix-Avalon .

I also wanted to say that when designing him, I'm trying to work with more realistic designs for clothing having to fit over his wings, thus a lot of laces and buttons and the like.

... Also I forgot to draw the bottom of his pants in the right pic. Pretend it's there. ^_^;;
