Description I made this for some Gaiaonline friends who have been begging for months. XD This is part one of what's going to be a 4-part series. Parts 2-4 will be linked here once they're done.

Lineartist: ... still trying to figure that one out. XD I found that lineart about 8 months ago and made a gross coloring of it then, but I haven't talked to the artist since. I'll add them when I find out.

Part two: Hair can be found here -> [link]

did you a hard brush or soft brush...What kind and size brush was used???

And in the tutorial when u said color all over the place with darker shade color..did u mean paint the whole face?

I used all hard brushes, just with different percents of opaque-ness. Also, when I said color all over the place with the darker shade color, I meant I put it where I thought it should be, but didn't worry about blending the colors or anything until I was sure I shaded everything I wanted to. o.o

It works fairly the same if you have other programs; you just have to adjust what tool you color with

<3 Glad you like, though!

I barely understand how to use OpenCanvas1.1, though. xDDD;

And the watercolor tool is confusing to me... o___o;; Iunno, but I'll keep trying! (And if I get Photoshop, I'll use your method. <333)

I think the best part of this tutorial for me was the color choosing part. OHGAWDLUFF. <3333 xD;

Yeah XD Color choice can really effect what the outcome will be! If I did the skin with straight peach-colors, it would look flat.

And the watercolor tool is so muchfun omg @w@ Once you get used to it, thoughXD Took me ages to get used to it.

I knoooow! I can never get it right. Durn, I can't CG for my life, that's it. xDD;

How do you get used to it?! DDD; It disturbs me to no end, oh, gawd. I think it's mostly lack of experience and technique, though. xD;

Well, if you ever want to network on oC 1.1, I can give you some pointers? =O Of course, if my networking decides to work!
