Thank god this thing is finally done.Now you all can see why I've been uploading little more than emo art this past few weeks. Because all of my happy art efforts were going into this.
... And now I'm not sure what to say about it, except that it's a scene from "A Hiccup in Time" and that this is where Team Rocket learns of the existence of an infant time god in the hands of... not one of the brightest bulbs in the box.
I spent WEEKS on this thing. Literally weeks. Or at least it feels like it. It was certainly a crapload of time.
And I'm really thrilled with how it turned out. Only problem I have with it is that the background is the wrong size proportionally, making either the trees look really small or Molly look huge.
As hard as I've worked on this, I REALLY want everyone's feedback on how to make it better.
Now I'm off to go spazz in a cloud of Pokemon Rebirth-induced inspiration... Sad thing is that A Hiccup in Time was always based on the games than the anime... :< Oh well. Can't have everything in life. And if you haven't read any of the fics/comics from Pokemon Rebirth, GO DO EET. NOW.

I've only one point to say,,
and that's Haunter.
Cause he looks more scared then
determinated to protect Molly.
But that's a personal thing,,
not very helpful.

Personally I think the trees and the background are superb. The height difference you seem to see isn't as apparent to me, and I'm a perfectionist in such matters. If it was bad, it would stick out like a sore thumb.
Honestly what bothers me (as with most of your pics with humans in them) is that you always come SO tantalizingly close, but seem to have a difficulty with the face on your human characters. I haven't said anything about it up to now because I'm not exactly sure what it is that bothers me about them, however. Perhaps it is the structure of the face near the cheekbone or the positioning of the eyes, or maybe the nose seems a little "weak"... All I can say is that I believe that is primarily where your room for improvement lies. It might be to you advantage to do some face-studies and try to revise how you draw the eyes or the overall face structure.
That is really the only weakness I can spot here.

Ahhh!!! That looks so good! I love how... well, realistic the pokemon look (if they CAN look realistic!). I hope Haunter there knows more than ghost attacks if he wants to hit rattata

Yeah. The funny part is that whenever people have seen me working on it over my shoulder, they're like, "That Rattata is so freakin' toast. What idiot sent it out anyway?"
And I'm like "Every Rocket Grunt and their cousin has a Rattata in HeartGold/SoulSilver... And besides, they're a grunt. Not exactly stellar in the brains department." XD
It's entertaining. Not to mention seeing a bunch of highschoolers dredge up their old knowledge of Pokemon to make such a comment.

What if the Ratatta has bite? And Haunter knows only ghost moves? What then? WHAAT THHENN????? Yeah lovely pic, really nice angle and poses. The perspective seems fine to me, and the colours are just right, one of the few really good uses of coloured pencil on DA.

Well, by the looks of it, they sent out the Rattata first.
If you could see the look on the grunts face, I bed s/he's just
thinking "Oh, right. THAT'S why I needed to get new pokemon..."
Pokemon is not knowledge! It is a way of life.
Is HeartGold/SoulSilver any good? I really can't be bother coughing up $100+ for a DS for one game
