2023 update: new boots!! Also slightly newer colors and more info!
Mostly just a style update tho
Val
The basics:
- His full name is Vallance Simon Maxwell (he/him)
- Call him Val, though. It sounds much less pretentious.
- He's 23 years old and 5'1"/1.55 m
- He's "proficient" with his bow and knives. By that he means "self taught."
- The man's a real "jack of all trades" type.
Personality:
Serious this man is not. He treats life as a joke and it shows in his words and actions. Val can be found in the presence of others, and if not, you can find him talking to his crow companion, Pip, or just to himself. He is never in one place for long, as the man can never seem to focus on just one thing. Though where he lacks in practical patience, he seems to make up for with his patience for people's transgressions. While getting him riled up and temporarily angry is incredibly easy, getting him truly upset with someone is a feat. That is to say, he isn't one who holds grudges easily.
The story so far:
"This here is probably the first real job I've had. Before Rowan hired me for whatever reason, I just roamed the streets in search of whatever sounded fun or got me enough to eat, y'know? I thought having some constant coin would be nice--and sure, I do like sleeping on a bed every night--but oh my LORD it's boring.
"See- Rowan's the kinda guy to take it safe everywhere. No shortcuts, no shady streets, no walking out after hours. Hell, I barely get to use my bow to hunt. All we do--and I mean all we do--is sell his magic shit. If it weren't for Ari and Zak showing up, I'd probably be outta there I think.
"So the two broke his shit and now Rowan's making them work to pay it back. Funny as hell, but that's not all. They--actually it's mostly Zak--start talking about these magic stone things they have, about how people are hunting them for it and how they can't stop to work or whatever. Sounds like horseshit right? Turns out it's not. So yeah, I'm sticking around to see how this shitshow ends."
Fun facts:
- Very musical and is adept in playing a good lute, or his flute
- Has mild deutan, not that he's aware of this
- Has a pep to his step and is very "bouncy" in the way he moves and talks
- Almost always doing something with his hands, and if he isn't, he's not listening
- Themes associated with him include: forests, leaves, birds (especially crows,) bows and arrows, musical motifs, and greens and brass yellow

And wait a sec, he carries hair clips and accessories? That sounds like he has long hair and keeps it back with these stuff :3c and poor guy is colour blind? I feel like that's kinda a good reason for him heaving a natural colour scheme

And yeah! Not completely Red-green colorblind, but pretty close, poor guy :'D He handles it like a champ. Though he did think his cloak was red for the longest time X'D Also, Photoshop has a feature that lets me see in red-green colorblindness, and he looks very yellow and brown X'D

Yes, you did! :3c I can't wait to see you notice the hint's I'll be putting throughout the comic :3c But yes! He spends a lot of time on his hair in the mornings only to put his hood up X'D He must be saving it for the right moment for the perfect shot X'D
On the bright side, blues look really pretty to him! Reds and greens, on the other hand, all look mostly brown or yellow :'D But yup!! It wasn't until someone pointed it out that he realized X'D
Yeah! It's in the view section under Proof Setup. Protanopia is for an inability to see red and deuteranopia is for the inability to see green (what Val has) It doesn't actually affect the document as it's to check colors, so if you want to turn it off, you have to make sure the "Proof Colors" is deselected to go back to the normal colors.
I tried it on my line up and this is what Val's Colorblindness almost looks like (It shows fewer colors than Val can see)

Ooo, yeah that's also true! I'm amazed sometimes at what some people see in my when I haven't given any context to it 
Who knows, that's just the way he is X'D And knowing him, it'll either be very dramatic, or not at all X'D
