The ancient dragon Fang belonging to *Verridith . This is my first try at making a dragon in a long time.Hopefully I'll have more, maybe my own dragons, to share soon!
Verridith was another victim of my horrible monthlong artblock. I poofed off the face of the earth and left her no idea how this piece for her was coming along! Luckily she has been very nice and this piece would not look as good without her many kind tips to help improve it.

Very good Graphite! I love the BG too, did you do it by hand or was it a preset BG? Love how you can see the highlight of the scales too! I need to draw more dragons, I used to all the time.

Thank you so much!! I did the background by hand, in pieces... first I did the castle wall, and then decided to make it ruined and erased some of it, then did the individual stones over the plain gray. Then I did the grass in front, and lastly I did the hills in a layer behind that and the sky in a layer behind that. :3 It sort of evolved as I talked to Verridith- when I started I had no idea what I was going to do for a background and it was her idea.
Dragons are so much fun to draw.

Something I like about dragons is how practically each one has a different physical build. Like this guy was almost like a raptor or T-rex, but my next one will be different. Thanks again for your encouraging words! You make me smile irl.
