It's the whole paint thing... I've always been able to do things in oils and what not that I could never hope to do in watercolor and working on these digital paintings, well, I'm able to use a lot of the techniques I use in my oils.

Thank you! I had mixed feelings about the gauze when i painted it in. It;s texture seemed to be at odds with the main character but, when it was all said and done, I decided to keep it as I couldn't come up with something better. In the end, I'm glad it worked out.
