Description
Random - another bit of "Deadliest Catch" inspired art. In downloading the show from iTunes, I came across a segment in which an albino opilio/snow crab was featured. So I 'borrowed' him for this bit of adorableness. Nervous little thing, isn't he? :3Other 'Catch' art:

Like he's repeating this mantra over and over in his head "she'll never find me here, she'll never find me here, she'll never find me here... right?".
Thank you.

Yes, MS Paint for the lineart, GIMP for the coloring.

Thanks.
What originally began as just practice drawing an orca's face square-on, then the idea of topping it off with a tiny crab decided me on coloring it.

Hehe, poor little crab, riding an orca who may or may not be hungry for some shellfish...

Yeah. But if he's smart enough to figure out the best place to hide from a predator is atop one, he may be worth an exception.

Yeah. The crab lives another day. I think some cetaceans eat shellfish but I don't think orcas do. Do they?

If they're so inclined, probably. There's footage and photos of Keiko playing with crabs, but I dunno if he ever developed a taste for them.

How would they break open the shells? Probably hitting them on really hard rocks

Jaw pressure alone would probably be enough, with repeated bites.
