media: paintchat, GIMPAfter dreaming about this guy (and waking up very shockedly in the midst of these dreams) two nights in a row, I had little choice but to draw him.
His name is Insomnis Alucinor.
I believe he's a Golem.
His wings are made of things he's found and collected. They cling gently as he walks, like windchimes (Much like Seymour does in the wedding scene
)But, really, what is it?

this is my new awesome desktop..
I love how some lonely sad feel is held by the miniature details (his collection and body structure) as though they mark important moments of the character's life story, also his nature and heart-journeying, all surrounded and hidden by the mysterious smoke, invisible for anyone else but himself and the mist-of-light...
there is so much charm in this incompleteness, which could signify both strength and fragility of his soul - the world around him falls apart, but his secret thoughts, beautiful dreams and delicate traits remain untouched.

First of all, I love the concept. How his wings are made up of things he's collected. He looks like a gentle, caring creature who takes pleasure in the simple things & I adore that persona.
Secondly, I like how you portrayed him. He looks a little bit melancholy, but maybe like he's just thinking deeply about something.
I would like to have a conversation with him. He looks like he has the answers to life.
