In my quest to imagine every posible escenario, I’ve come with a few ideas of how findekano could have met his half cousins... this one if kinda the funniest... i guess...
Wow, that was insightful… and to think they have been inked and covering with dust for years….
I’m uploading them B&W as they are in case if takes me another handful of years to colour them... oh, and ignore the narrative, the narrative sucks... I just had to put someting in the spaces I intentionally left...

Oh, oh, my lungs. I can't breathe. *chuckles for hours* That was even better than I expected. I loved how you can only see the Fëanorians' feet, and then suddenly three giants appear. Especially Maedhros! I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that he's the one in the middle, Maglor's the one on the left, and Celegorm's the one on the right? They look so royal and dignified (except for little Caranthir, of course!)

correct on three counts!
celegorm is kinda bored, and Maglor takes advantage of his beautiful voice to say mean things. Maitimo is the only voice of reason and courtesy here!
they do look really royal, but then again, they've come to Tirion to visit their grandfather the king, so Feanor would be damned if they didn't appear like proper princes (he probably lined up at the door of their home and personally checked they were properly dressed

LOL! LOVE that last scene. So that's little Carnistir, eh? He's cute... and his brother are so handsome... Poor Findekano. Not only are they older than expected, but his cousins are also rather tall! Though none so tall as his future best friend, LOL!

I knew it! I knew Findekáno was screwed the moment he assumed that all of his cousins were going to be tiny. It's rather unfortunate that he met Moryo first; I mean, if he saw Nelyo first, he'd never make that assumption! (I imagine that Maitimo and probably Makalaurë are adults by the time Fingon was this age.) There's a reason Maedhros is called The Tall! 
It's kind of hard for me to discern the difference between the brothers when they're not coloured (as I usually only know them by their copper/black/brown/silver hair). Soo...I'm going to take a guess here. I'll say Nelyo is the middle, tallest one, Kano is the one with straight hair on the left, and Turko is the wavy-haired (I notice you usually draw him with wavy hair) one who Moryo is clinging to. Am I right?
If I were Findekáno, I wouldn't trust them! The Fëanorians looks /way/ too mischievous for his safety! Just look at those smiles! I'm looking at Maedhros and Maglor in particular. Anyways, basically what I meant to say is that I love it!

I love this little comic. xD Not quite how I pictured the first meeting of the cousins, but I totally approve of this scenario. ... and the fact that Caranthir has freckles. ♥ So adorable, even if he apparently is kind of a brat here. xD

I actually pictured their 'first meeting' many times, this one was just the funniest!
Still, I kinda imagine they met when the feanoreans were considerably older than their cousins...

And yeah, I should think so. I mean... Feanor married pretty young, and while we know that Fingolfin is older than Maedhros, it is entirely possible for Maedhros to be older than Finarfin, and for the first two or three of Feanor's sons to be older than his nephews is a reasonable idea.
... although stuff like this makes rereading the Silmarillion a much more amusing pursuit than it should be, given how depressing it is. Still it's so much fun to imagine various scenarios involving the various elf families - especially when they were kids!

By the way, after reading this many (rather weird) fanfictions and seeing things like these I don't think I'll ever be able to read the Sil the same way again. The worst bit is that I now laugh at parts that aren't at all supposed to be funny. Not that there's a part in there that is meant to be funny, but hey.

lol! the same happens to me... somehow all that fanfiction has totally ruined that book for me... as well as LOTR... and HP... adn pretty much evrything I read fanfiction about ends up distorted... so sad... In my case I begin to imagine events that never happened (like this one) and when I read the book I think "hey! where's that part where Tyelkormo broke his arm when trying ot fly" until I realize that was my brain pulling one on me...
And nope. sorry, the redhead is Nelyo, the dark haired with the strenge braid is Makalaure... I just had no idea how to draw him as a child...
