I know I said I was going to cut down on TLK content, but I doodled the big bad matriarch(tm) while I was at my grandparents place two weeks ago and I had to finish this up.

- Sheria is the unhinged and crazed matriarch that got the hyenas exiled from the Pridelands near the end of Mohatu's reign, she was violent, killed for sport and incentivate the clan to do the same. With the help of her powerful mate, Banagi, she got control of the clan early and had big plans to become the ruler of the Pridelands, she was one of the most ruthless matriarches that the clan had ever seen, ruling with an iron paw. Her reckless attitude got her killed when Taka was a young teen, so she wasn't around when her daughter, Shenzi, befriended the lion prince.
Oh boy, this one was a doozy, I love Sheria's design, I don't remember why I chose her name years ago, but I find it ironic that it means "Law" since she breaks it all the time. I tried to make her big, dark and intimidating... and also very fluffy; she was going to have a dark nose, but it blended in, so I made it pink and I love it.

- Nne is one of the few young males that stays behind with Janja after the split with the main clan happens. He's a relatively small and low rank male, distantly related to the matriarch's bloodline (his grandmother is Sheria's younger sister). He and his 4 brothers make up most of Janja's clan; he and his brothers are all named after numbers (their parents weren't really creative).
This one was actually pretty fun to redesign, there is barely any fanart of him and he's a pretty minor character in TLG, which led to me going ham with his backstory. Design wise I just gave him a very small scar and adjusted his anatomy and colors, I loved his base design already, he remindes me of Banzai.

- Tano is one of Nne's 4 brothers, he's the one Nne is the closest to, they always band together. He's one of the lowest ranked in the clan, and doesn't have a big appetite, which led to him being very underweight and skinny.
I really, really didn't like this guy's design, I even considered scrapping him from my headcanons, but then when I saw the meaning of his and Nne's names, that's when I came up with the concept of the 5 brothers and I HAD to keep him in. Luckily after I started drawing him in my TLK style I started liking him a bit more, I'm pretty ok with the result.

Yeeehaw, another batch of hyenas is done. I don't know who I'll do next, or when, I'm still trying not to bog my gallery down with too many of these. I also have the second gen of the Pridelands to do and more semi-canon characters to get out of the way.
Doing these doodles is a good distraction after big scenes like the prompts.
Already updated the family tree as well, especially with Nne and Tano's family.
