Description
I really liked the old man from my last drawing, so I decided to draw him fully, and ended up giving him traits from the mountain pride.
I have lots of ideas on what to do with him but the basic gist is: he was a high general of the pride's council, kept in very high regard by the king despite his young age; thus the king "gifted" him the privilege of marrying his youngest daughter (they were roughly the same age and she didn't have a mate yet, which the king was worried about), not wanting to anger the king he accepted. Their marriage was... ok, they dind't love each other but there was respect, and they had many children... and grandchildren; however he ends up far outliving her, she barely gets to meet her grandkids, while he lives long enough to see his great-granchildren grow up.
In his old age his pelt as darkened and dulled, with lots of fading and spotting, and his ice blue eyes loose a lot of their vision; still he is regarded as the wisest and most respected elder of the pride, the only lion to seemingly have the true respect of queen Baridi.
