Later edit: If you're seeing this, after seeing what the creator of the show is really like, plus having had my eyes opened top how badly the series is written/ how ableist it is I cannot in good faith stand with what I wrote here anymore.
I'm leaving this drawing up purely because It's my art and I never delete anything from my gallery (and I still like the drawing itself). Just take this as a style experiment if anything.

Decided to draw Shujaa in the "My pride" style. He's kind of a multi-purpose oc and isn't stricktly tied to TLK and I've wanted to try drawing him as a no-mane for a while. I don't think he'd ever be a mane with a pride, even if he manages to kill a pride leader I'd see him just leaving, maybe staying there for a while but he wouldn't like living with other lions.

My pride is a series I've seen in my recommendations for a lot of time after seeing the trailer when it first came out, and I finally caved in and watched it shortly after the second episode came out (?) and as the time went on and more episodes came out I started getting more and more invested in the story, and re-watched the first few episodes to enjoy them more.

I love the laughing expression, it's just so fun to draw Angel being a maniac.
