A quick sketch of Sally portraying what I think of the new redesign...COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY!
Because I seriously don't think she needed anymore clothes, she was an awesome character, but NO, they had to take it away. They took her cheek fluff away (that was a signature of Sally >.>), they changed her eyes, they made her look so young -.- I just don't like it >.> well done Ian, very well done...
Sally doesn't need clothes for being accepted, and also, the design of the attire is completely generic, there are LOTS of fan characters with this kind of simple pants, and the gloves? They're a recolor of Amy's gloves, 'nuff said :I
*sigh* If you don't like, and if you like the redesign and start BAWWing about this picture and about how much you liek the new design, DON'T COMMENT

It would appear that way, Sally. I personally think you looked fine before the appearance change, but time passes and things change. The artists of the Archie comic ultimately do have authority on your appearance.

After all of the crap involving the characters and Flynn's writing, just reboot the characters and story. If Sally needs to be there anymore since it's pretty much like leaving her in Hell keeping things as they are, just put her in that red dress that Princess Acorn from that SatAM prototype was wearing and make her however you want. I'll let the Sally I love remain immortal in my memory and dreams.

I think the outfit it's self is cute but, it was VERY unnecessary and just-
I have a feeling that the only reason they did this was to "censor" her and make her fit in.
Which sucks cause, characters like, her and Cosmo, who actually have a different face make-up are my favorite cause of their creativity.

I totally agree with you. Flynn is an idiot. He turned a unique Sonic character into a bland generic female Sonic character. The cheek fluffs are gone. Cheek fluffs! I already miss the old design...

...guys. You all probably won't even read my comment. But hear me out; my friend here, who drew this, clearly states in the freaking ARTIST COMMENTS that if you start "BAWWing" about this picture and how much you like the new design, to NOT EVEN COMMENT.
Can't any of you guys read? TnT;;; Seriously! Is it that hard to actually respect her decision and to read the artists' comments and abide by them?
Anyway, to you, Vee; I agree, one hundred percent. Sally doesn't NEED an outfit. She never needed a freaking redesign. Ian Flynn's a complete and total idiot.
I love this picture, btw. I really do feel bad for Sally.

I do like a few parts of her clothes, but the face....THE FACE!!!! is what's ticking me off a little. I liked her cheek fur and eyelids ;_;
Maybe I should change the redesign a bit and make it as a "10 years later" design if I have the time...

How come Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow and the other male characters can run around sky clad but the girls can't? I'm still trying to get used to Bunnie's design in the comics, BEFORE the wizard character turned her back into a 100% biological rabbit or before "Token Black Guy" upgraded her, I'm talking about when they stopped using her SatAM design and gave her long, blonde hair.

I know, that also bugs me :I Ian Flynn says that the SatAM characters design is now out of "modernity" and just changed her for that >.> I think they were perfectly fine, and Sally didn't need anything else than her boots and her vest.
