Description
We were driving through Lindis Pass in some moody weather when the light broke through onto some hills a little way to the side of the road. I made the decision to jump out and make the 5 min run up the hill to get a good view, only for the light to disappear just before I got there. Seeing as I was already up there I scoped a few potential shots while waiting to see if any light would come back, and was rewarded with this great scene!

Later on, driving towards Omarama I was treated with some more epic light, that shot to come soon!
