Description
My first time shooting Shag Rock (now known locally as Shag Pile) since the earthquake. That's it on the left, you'd be forgiven for not recognizing it now, it's changed a bit... For a comparison try [link] titled "Enduring". Haha that title has become more than a little ironic, hasn't it?All comments and feedback welcome

Most of them are Christchurch or just outside of Christchurch, the ones taken in the Waimakariri valley are about an hour and a half to two hours from Christchurch

Oh my... the colours are abosolutely stunning, and those waves look almost etheral. Love how the sun falls directly between the two rocky outcrops, it makes them seem like a "gate" of sorts.
I was rather sad when I learned Shag Rock had been felled by the quake, but this shot is so beautiful is just about makes up for it
Now if only those wretched aftershocks would stop
