Cheers man. Drove up and down that road enough times that weekend, probably would have regretted not taking it. Lol

CC, Invercargill, Blenheim, Timaru , Greymouth (wettest place on earth) and Nelson. Never been back but would love to get there again with my camera.

That's a lot of places in 2 years, you move around a lot with work?

It was work 'sort of'. I was a volunteer missionary for the LDS Church so I was involved in teaching people from all backgrounds Kiwi's, Maori, Samoan, Tongan etc. It was a great experience and I grew to love your country and the people there. Does the Wizard still roam Christchurch ?
Do you ever get out to Queenstown and other exotic places with your camera?
Nice chatting, best wishes John M from Wales, UK

Oh I see, nice! I've been trying to get out to more places with my camera this year (now that I have a job, and not a student). I haven't been to Queenstown in years unfortunately, the last time was WELL before I got into photography. It's on the list though! Funny you should ask about the Wizard, I actually used to live literally across the road from him, so used to see his VW Beetle with 2 front ends all the time! Woke up one night to his house burning down in a raging fire, luckily he got out with everyone else! Arson I think but not sure they ever caught the person. He moved across town somewhere else after that, but then end of last year and this year we had some massive earthquakes, so now town is destroyed, along with his usual spot in the square. I think after that he moved to another city. Not sure where though.

Cheers John!

Coming back to this shot again, I think the road really let's your eye follow through to Mount Cook - just great
