The temptation to get Freudian...the moon eyeballing & smiling at the space capsule, tentacle hair & what is he looking at that requires tweezers (as in "Don't touch that. You don't know where it's been...")? It's great. I love art that makes me smile. I love art that has a kind of "wow" appeal. I feel especially lucky when I get both in one piece. Today's a lucky day.

I suppose one could get a bit freudian if one chose to. Actually if you saw the what he was 'cut' out of you would see that he was stamp collecting. lol.
sometimes its fun to take some random images and try and form some sort of visual narrative.
glad it wow'd you.

I love the moon faces. the boy "blasting off" in his own little world, and the phones "off the hook"....
great colors, and tones- love it!!!!

thanks! just a random collection of images.. it's fun and challenging to try and group them together to form some sort of visual narrative.

you do great work and glad I found you on DA.
Do you have your own site besides DA you are showing off your talents?

unfortunately dA is the only place that I show off my talents. Some day I really need to learn how to build a website, I have all the software for it-- I have the whole Master edition creative suite 3 from adobe-- which includes flash, dreamweaver, etc.. (it's good having friends in the software industry).

LOL! I know what you mean- I have some pretty pricey software in my collection that I got from friends. I have to redo the website where I work, and no one has any back up files- so my advice is when you do get your site up- make sure you have back up files on a CD. It will save your life if your site ever goes down.
Dreamweaver is a great program BTW... I just use software that is not so complicated. If your just starting out- MS Word is a good place to practice- but Dreamweaver is so much better, but also more complex. Good luck to you with the development.

i hate having to learn software. it took me a good couple of years to really understand the power of photoshop and how to use it to make the things i see in my head. I do back things up to cd and external drive. Dont want to loose any of my original files and source materials, have large database of images and textures.

i just taught my partner the basics of PSP 9. he loves it now!!! he's gonna become addicted to it i just know it!!!
PS is cool, but i find the user interface of PSP easier to figure out. You must have PS CS?? I have a hacked version, and not everything works in it. but my PS 7 is just fine.
