Yellow doesn't hurt them, their rings just don't work on anything yellow. Also, if you think THAT'S bad, Alan Scott(the golden age's Green Lantern)'s ring, which was powered by the magical "Starheart," didn't work on anything WOODEN(insert bad acting joke here).

I liked Marvel a lot but since Civil War and OMD I've been disappointed and I gave up.
By the way, I'm more a DC Fanboy : I read Superman, Batman, Flash and Green Lantern adventures when I was a children. The first crossover was from DC (Crisis on Infinite Earth). Superman of Richard Donner was astonishing, Batman of Tim Burton too. I'm especially a Green Lantern fanboy and Geoff Johns did an excellent work on this serie (Rebirth, Sinestro Corps War, etc...).

Also nolan's batman movies are great. as well as smallville. and the superman movie. And Superman is the dc mascot because of what he stands for. for the hope he inspires. Marvel is amazing. it really is. some great stories. but one company isnt better than the other. DC actually has great stories as well. Dont underestimate DC

Eh, Azazel's a one note thug. Sinestro's a badass soldier. And no, Sinestro was not the villain in the movie, though there was a clear set up for his fall from grace. While I enjoyed First Class, I also enjoyed Green Lantern even more. Granted, I've always been a GL fan, and I've never much cared for X-Men.

The real problem with DC is that they hand their movies over to other company's to do the filming and everything, so you have people that are more interested in how the movie looks and how many tickets they sell. Marvel on the other hand seems to care more for how their characters are handled, how their stories are told, and the progression from comic book to the big screen. Marvel also has a knack for finding actors that can actually find their characters "voice", like Robert Downy Jr. is Tony Stark, or Chris Hemsworth is Thor. DC had a good Superman in Reeves, then they went for someone that looked like Reeves and gave him an extension of the Reeves movie. They should have rebooted the movie franchise, would have made a better movie and given the actor a chance to make himself his own take on the character. Nolan found a good Batman in Bale, but that seems to be DC's main focus in everything right now.
So the difference in the two company's is that marvel owns their movies while Warner Brothers own DC's movies.

Not into comics personally (although several of my friends are comic mad so I hear about the Marvel vs DC thing often enough), but at least movie-verse wise there is no contest. Movie-verse Azazel; you don't get much hotter and bad-ass than that.

Im a bit iffy about DC, especially when theyre mascot character is designed in such a brokenly overpowered way that he just cannot by all sense of logic be beaten (Superman) come on, invulnerabilty, uncrushable, able to throw hundreds of tonnes around like paperweights, hypersonic flight, laser eyes, freeze breathe etc. When the only thing that can beat your flagship character is a specific kind of rock I just take it seriously.
I also find marvel comics funnier and I prefer characters I can actually relate to like Spiderman. I find I cant attach to characters like rich beyond what should be legal batman.
I will admit though, I thoroughly enjoyed batman beyond, the titans, the recent deathstroke comics and the new superman seems interesting. The Justice League show was good and Flash has been a long time favourite of mine, its just old style Superman that irks me most.n I've been meaning to pick up the Black Lantern Corps stories too
