A play with a more realistic jester-character. I was quite satisfied with her smile.

It has been a long time since I browsed your gallery (I'm a bit inactive) and immidiatly when I opened the gallery, this work popped out.

The face in this work is simply amazing - much better then most of your works (which are already very good).
The amount of details is very good - a bit of sharpness in the stones (unlike some of the smooth areas in most of the digital paintings). Also the puppet's body is detailed perfectly.

This scene is very well lit - the colors of the ligt on the face match the sorounding perfectly - and give a warm feeling to this scene.

This is definetly your best work (or at least the best you submitted ). More than deserves a

I was quite happy with her face and expression myself so I'm glad you like it! I try to a greater and greater extent to make sure there are few "digitally smooth" parts of my images, so it's good that this is noticed as well. Thanks for the comment and fave!

Great work on the face. The skin tones and mouth seem particularly good.

How did you do the cloth texture? It doesn't seem to follow the folds quite right.

The cloth texture was made on a separate layer, but since the original image is huge some details in the folds I missed. I have done some adjustments to the cloth texture now though.

I used to do a lot of my art with a mouse, but these days I use a Wacom tablet, yes. A mouse works fine for many styles of art, but it oftenmost requires a much slower workflow than when using a tablet.
