Yet another hypothetical.

A former engineering student, he became a double-amputee after a rather nasty project gone wrong, losing both his arms and sustaining heavy burns and damage to his torso. Rather than go on a cripple for the rest of his life, he vowed to rebuild himself with the help of those who would support his venture.

The result was a pair of piecemeal robotic arms grafted onto a gyroscopic upper torso that encased his spine and organs. These monstrous appendages, coupled with its rotational ability, gave him supreme strength and 360 degrees of reach. However, after seeing what he had become, his partners abandoned his side and left him outcast, forever stuck with the freakish limbs.

He would later join Helix after realising he no longer had any place in human society, his own ambition the cause of his disfigurement. Rather than run from what he was, Helix taught him to embrace it, turning him into a monstrous weapon that very easily got the upper hand over smaller, weaker foes. His lust to fight is the result of not only his distaste toward everyone who is fortunate enough to remain 'normal', but also due to his desire to show that he is better off with his newfound capabilities. His legs were refitted with deployable struts that can be latched to the ground to help him maintain his balance when his spinning appendages gather too much momentum.

Revolver, as he was aptly dubbed, took part in the battle of Amity Glen. Despite being incapacitated briefly by a Junior Citizen agent, he survived the battle with the help of his mentor, the electromagnetic cybergirl, Biohazard.
