I try this and my characters still turn out like crap. You are a goddess of character design and color pallets. I love the colors of all the characters you come up with and wish to steal them because I can't come up with them myself. ;; Tape is adorable. :3

8D that is so cool
All the colors are really bright, maybe try giving it one earth color to? like a warm brown or bluegray would look cool ^^ maybe on the tail and neck,, i love the body and how the colors fade into eachother at the feet so i wouldnt change the body or legs at all ^^

Thanks sooo much for sharing !!! It will help allot sense I'm currently redesigning on of my human characters who suffers from unoriginally looks wise, But I do got his personally down. so I was wondering for the list thing should I list his personally traits and things I like when redesigning him?

If you already have a personality for him, list things that can be used to strengthen that personality ^^
Listing what his personality is will help you alot ;D
