This helped me think about my sketching a lot more. I used to be a perfectionist with my sketching. It used to be so sad when my sketches looked better than my lineart

I use to doodle all the time years ago...now, I feel as if I need to get the lineart done right the first time. Drawing doesn't feel good as I remember it. Sketching is my weakness, it is why I seldom post art. But, you are just great!

I used to never sketch and becuase of that my art really sucked, now I sketch and I feel like it adds a lot more depth to my stuff.

i don't sketch... i just straight draw the lineart and don't go back... unless i mess up which then i use the messed up one as a sketch and make the real lineart...

And it really shows in your work. If you were to get used to the sketching method, it'd do wonders for your art in the long run.
