If you think you need a tablet to draw thats just silly xD thats like saying you need a pencil to draw, I used a mouse before my tablet for years and I did just fine, it just requiers practice

Well, for me using a mouse to draw is akin to drawing with my foot.

Can I ask why you decided to take out the falling ice/snow effect out of your "Jumping over the moon" WIP? It seemed really cool, but I notice you took it from the final piece.

I seriously love when you make this stuff, it helps out a TON! I just started layering a few months ago and this really puts into perspective how to tackle a drawing's coloring process. Thanks for putting this together Tina <3333

Yay! I dont know why, but I have the hardest time blocking things in at the start, getting better, but it looks like you do so much awesome painty blending throughout based on the blocked stuff. Too many skills, lady!

it is fun to just go with the flow after creating a quick sketch, often I have no idea what to make until I add the first base color xD

Awesome, as always! : D
What settings for your brush do you typically use for your backgrounds and such? Every time I try to create a landscape, it's either too soft or too sharp D;

If I use the rounded normal brush in pghotoshop I draw with opacity, if I use the recent custom brush which is also a brush in photoshop with some minor ajustments, it worths with opacity pressure when you use a tablet

NinthTale In reply to griffsnuff [2012-10-11 07:10:15 +0000 UTC]
Hmm. Do you reduce the layer's opacity, too? I'm trying the multiply thing and it just slops down solid black..

You drew a dinosaur's bones before it's body? I would think the bones would be harder to draw...

griffsnuff In reply to ColorLovingOutcast [2012-10-11 06:09:33 +0000 UTC]
xD because I drew that while visiting a dinosaur museum in belgia and later decided to put meat on it

Oh, lol. You should have added the original bones to your gallery too, that would have been so cool. It could be titled "Inside a dinosaur" xD
