Rhino horns are mainly used for weapons and pottery. Also, hunting of animals also helps maintain their population so they do not overgrow. Poaching, however, will probably never end as long as selfish people live. It's a sad fact, but humanity will just have to find a way to decrease it. :l

An end must be put on animal traps. Killing living creatures for useless trophies is VERY bad. Bears, foxes and cougars are also part of these demises. If it continues, we will never see these wonderful creatures anymore. Put an end on this.

Hunting is needed. If we do not hunt, animals will overpopulate and possibly destroy the environment or eat out our food supplies. Or worse, get brave enough to go into cities and rampage there. Texas and California in the USA already have brave enough coyotes who attack children, dogs, and cats. We have seasons when certain animals are needed to be hunted down so it's organized. Majority of hunting is not for "useless trophies" but for bringing down the population size, bringing food for sell or consumption, or for things needed to craft. We need hunting, but not poaching.

ok i don't know if this is about the bear trap because some animals are interested in how they work but are smart enough to go in it or if she lost someone to it idk but i love the style and i really want to be able to draw like that ;^;

In reality, I don't think this reaction is plausible for an animal. While it is true that animals do feel sorrow, it is not as prolonged as with people. Animals live in the moment, while we are stuck in the past and possibly the future. Hardly do we ever truly become the present.

This picture is really sad, but let's be real here.Β
Poachers are bad people.
People who use traps that hurt the animal and make it die a slow, painful death are bad people.
Hunters who kill the animal and leave it are bad people.
But people who use safe traps (ones that capture the animal without killing, and don't burrow into the skin), kill the animal but use as much of it as possible (taxidermy, anyone?), hunt for survival, or kill for population control, are not bad people.
Also, I understand that this character is fictional, but any wild animal that escapes from a fur farm is either going to wind up dead, or cause environmental issues. This is because they rely on their human farmer. And no, a predator cannot be vegan. Sorry, PETA.
And no, it's not that I don't like animals. It's that people like you guys need to stop acting like nature is supposed to be a freaking disney movie.

Going to comment to say how much I agree with this. Not to mention metal/steel/whatever jawed traps are illegal in most places due to being inhumane and damaging both wild and domestic animals. Non-tooth traps themselves are humane and most hunters know how to dispatch their animal with the most accurate shot possible.
lol, my shitstorm senses are tingling

Don't get me wrong, I love foxes and they come in so many gorgeous colors (I still want ranch foxes but them prices tho /sobbing), but they certainly aren't to be worshipped. In fact, no animal should go so far as to be treated that way. 'tis why Animal Rights people piss me off with their liberation bullshit. Animal Welfare is the cause that truly needs support.

The meaning of this made me cry. You did such a great job.
Hunters are bad people, even when hunting animals for prizes, trophy's, and their fur. Unless it's precisely for survival and or population control, then that's all right. I wish hunting items, in this case, bear traps, were banned everywhere. These poor animals don't deserve to die for absolutely no reason.Β
This also shows that "wild" animals even though they don't show it to humans, have feelings and care for their family. When a wolf dies in their pack, they feel guilty and mourn for the loss. They show love, compassion, and ect. Just like us humans, we have the same feelings as all animals. But, even though we seem different in anyway possible, we all connect the same feelings.
This picture also reminds me of the animation "Wolfsong", where a mother wolf only wants to sing a song to her child, for the last time.

Oh! I'm so sorry! I was only addressing the hunters that do it, but don't understand the feelings of animals as they die.
I'm sure your Pop and uncle understand the pain the animals go through. I'm also sure they are nice hunters that understand. vuv

This has a really good message inside of it. Yes it may be sad but seriously the message is to stop over hunting and animals have feelings too. They aren't just trophies you can hang on your wall or a stylish coat you can wear to your friend's party. People are sticking up for animals and that includes me.Β

Not that I'm a hunter, but only some of them hunt beautiful creatures like wolves and foxes. Only stupid and cruel hunters set out traps like these to harm predators. Also, foxes commonly get.... killed (;0 by this because they are naturally scavengers and the bait attracts themΒ

Yes. I think traps should be illegal in every country(sad that they aren't already everywhere).
Still there's many reasons for hunting and freaking good one's too. Most of them are better choice for the animals than not hunting.
...that comment wasn't even bad, but when there's these people "These people should be shot in the head or chopped alive so they would know how it feels!!!1!"... Every respectful hunter knows whats best for the animal. Sadly there's still countries and regions where people don't think their actions and have no one tell tell them what's right.

So true, traps are a danger to so many innocent animals. No good hunter should use them. Some people prefer to live off the land, but they don't hunt animals for personal gain.
It's annoying when people think that all hunters are bad and should be pulverized or something...
