I haven't decided whether or not this turned out quite right, but I enjoyed messing around with the shadowy bits. It was...ah...a learning experience. Yeah.If nothing else, I like how their expressions turned out.

*not so subtle response* Yeah, Mecid made the same point. Where their shoulders meet, there's definitely some confusion in terms of perspective. It looks like one black, amorphous blob. I definitely need to keep your crit in mind next time I attempt something like this. c:

Their expressions are awesome. There's something to be said for your line work as well.
I like the black suit shpeel. The only thing that gets me a little is where the suits meet. It makes me think Emile is standing next to Paolo (though it was a wise choice to place their feet at different levels to suggest they're obviously not.) It feels like there should be a small dash of something to suggest that they're apart.
But then again that would sort of ruin the whole black suit feel. But I'm all about ruining other peoples work. ALL ABOUT IT.

Yeah, it definitely strikes me as a little off. I'm just going to claim that it's all an optical trick to throw people off-balance, thereby narrowly evading your attempt to ruin my work. 
Really, though, I think I might go back and play around with the area where their shoulders join a bit.

Shadows = fun. I love how their bodies are just silhouettes. Paolo's expression is great, he's dissing Emile, but he looks hurt/nervous as he's doing it. XD

In all honesty, there is absolutely no method at all to my inking. Just a lot of trial and error. If I ever made a tutorial, it would be the most frustrating, incomprehensible read on site. <:E
