Alright so... decided to give Sculptris a break after the final crash that made me go"DONE!" XP then JUST for FUN mess with it in adobe until I felt like doing more. And well... got a little carried away with it. Still a WIP because I do plan on doing more with it- it's nice but could be MUCH better and I won't stop until it is XPI wanted to combine a few things- his appearance in DA: O, the look of the Qunari in DAII (because as much as I love Sten I really fancy the idea of him not looking like just a really tall beefy person- like there has to be a reason the people of Ferelden call him 'creature'!), and his appearance in the comic book "Dragon Age: Those who Speak" (in which he is made the ARISHOK! XD)
And I was listening to the music of Mark Hildreth the whole time- thought it would be appropriate

Wow, you did this in sculptris? I am new to 3D tools, I admit, but I have struggled so far with any kind of realistic hair or lips in Sculptris. Nice job! This looks great, I love the post-work in this as well.
When has it been crashing for you? It has been in one of three circumstances for me so far:
At work, when I go over 1.6 million triangles
At home, when I go over 2.5 million triangles
Anywhere, when I have too many surfaces twisted into each other that I can't smooth out (or edit in any way shape or form) without it crashing.

Any time I try to import objects, turn off symmetry, or if I do too much too quickly.

Arghhhh, there are more bugs than I thought. I really want to like sculptris, I havent seen a 3D tool this easy to use that's free before.

Same. I see this as a good introduction to Sculptris- I figured throughout all the time I have to patiently save up for it could be spent on getting familiar with the basics ^_^ Despite the bugs I'm having fun with it. I just have to save very often, but then that's true for everything.

You are certainly having better luck than I have so far, in any case. And if nothing else, it's pretty good at recovering MOST of what you were working on if it crashes. Great work, again

Yeah, Sten became Arishok. I feel kinda bad I never had him in my party through any of my playthroughs...

Geez, he looks awesome~! I cannot wait to see what else you plan on doing with it! I envy you being able to do a realistic face. D: I always have the same anime faces, haha. Great work!
