Woah, you're very fast! This reminds me that I still need a good foregrip for my airsoft F2000... sigh... maybe it's not so difficult to create, from wood at least!

thnx man, honestly, I didnt feel right the last days(emotionally), so this is a commission... and I am already losing money, i was supposed to be done with it in 15 hrs, i am over 25 now.
and the foregrip, get some sintra, it comes in various thicknesses. easy to work, to shape, lighter, takes paint well, really easy to glue (anything with cynoacrylate will do the trick) and is cheap. cover with some texture paint and u have a real looking grip.

Thanks for the info, I might give it a try. It seems it's not so overcomplicated to buil something, I'm experienced in 3D modeling and it's not so different. Shaping, beveling and smoothing, huh!
It's a bad period for most of us, from what I see... just keep going. If you can make money out of a new passion, that's fine!

I'm working on commissions right now. I want to finish them so I can work on something for myself. I've got 2 things that I really want ot make, but I dunno how my budget is looking like right now.
I'd like Clalaclan in her armor from Shinning Wind and/or Monk from Diablo. For the monk I'm looking into doing it all leather. I've found some great sources of info and material here so it's a matter of starting ^_^
I'm trying not to get too excited for my own projects before I finish the commissions. Really fighting the temptation XD

I have a love and hate relationships with commissions XD, but it pays for things, so can't give up.
I haven't played games in a while too. I'm one of those obsessed gamer so with work that needs to be done, I've been avoiding it. I am planing on playing Diablo 3 before cosplaying the Monk though, which also gives me time to practice working with leather.
Clalaclan is from a japanese Sim game. Not my cup of tea, but the figures Goodsmile and other great companies made, are sooo pretty that I really want to cosplay based on them.
I think I'm gonna make a list of games to play and go through the check list when I find time >.>

I'm gonna be on top assassins creed 3 when it comes out though lol. I've played all of thm so far and I'm still hooked! It's probably a good time to work on Clalaclan she's been on my list of costumes to do for 2 years now.

I think I'll go for it then and hope to start sometime in the fall. I hope I have enough time though, there is a good chance that a theatre company is hiring me for their new season of plays
