this is for =kitton 's contest... kind of.i mean. i've owed her peony giftart forever, so i kind of combined the giftart with a contest entry, because i'm so pressed for time (that's why there's a starguava in there, too. i'm not sure if that's allowed in the contest entry, but this was how i had planned my gift art ages ago X3 ).
i'm actually kinda chuffed with this piece. =Nicc593 heard me whinging lastnight coz my lineart wasn't working, but i think i pulled it off in the end.
background:
peony's a girly-girl so her bikini is tied up with ribbons, but one's come undone
so she's all like "oi! what do you think you're looking at? my goodies are all for guava :\ "

and starguava is all like "damn straight."
i'm on a bit of an orange kick at the moment. when i went up to nelson i got a cutting from this beautiful orange hibiscus plant. the flowers are the size of my hand. i just melt whenever i see them. so i hope my cuttings grow. oh, and that's why starguava has a hibiscus flower in her hair :3 i know it's cliche, but i loves them so~
oh, and i didn't go overboard with the blush effect - they're supposed to be a bit sunburnt - because i am too X3
there is no way you can be fair skinned and play in the tropical sun ALL day without getting at least a little fried :3
i think my favourite part is peony's tan line on her butt :3
and look, =kitton , i remembered her freckles!
side note:
i don't normally give character bg info, coz most people don't give a toss, but just for the record, i'm making starguava's hips bigger and her breasties smaller. bahahaha. i'm so over big breasts, and i've always loved big hips <3
i used an anime model to reference the pose for peony, but everything else i whipped up myself.

Nice work there! Love the whole beach sence and all that .... but realy loving the "big hip and smaller breasts" its one of my pet groans that all the female role models never look like women but more like 30yr old girls ... or sticks with bumps .... take your pick. Good work there.

haha, yeah, i can't think of anyone with big hips and small breasts just off the top of my head. cept maybe for me, but i'm not a role model, hahahaha. it would be cool to see some role models out there other than either a size 8 Supre skank, or those "big is beautiful" people i used to see flaunting their 350lb stomachs on the Ricky Lake show.

None the less, though, they look hot X3 Love seeing backgrounds and whatnot in your pictures... you can always see the effort and everything..

Looks so gorgeous! Starguava and Peony's faces are adorable.. and Peony's bum is a really nice shape
The sea and the sky look so lovely too, the clouds are an awesome shape.. the ones on the horizon are often forgotton in pictures, so welldone!

im glad you like their faces... i was having issues with them, haha. starguava looks a bit spacey, and peony looks a bit too angry, hahha. i still havent found a decent way of drawing faces, now i'm trying to move away from anime.

OMG *spazz* I so totally love this! I really love their poses and the atmosphere. I'm so into the atmosphere! I love both of their faces cause they are all snazzy and stuff. I love Peony, she looks so perfect (freckles!!) and I totally love Guava. Her pose is so simple but she has so much character and attitude! I LOVE her huge boxy hips, too! I love her soft eyes and the way her arms are (and the ball is cute!)
I totally love the background <3 The textures are so hawt and I love the water and the clouds. its so tropical and gorgeoussss~ The water shapes are so pretty and I love all of the hues that are in it!
I also love pea, of courseeee :3 her pose is so cute and they are both badass!

she looks a little angry, and not bubbly like she should be... but maybe she just doesnt like perverts spying on her assflesh :B

I like it....I especially like her pose and her (foreground) has a much better expression and is more realistic than anime-ish. I really like the color as well and I agree with the hips....go for it!
