Hey, remember that episode of Animaniacs where Rita, finally fed up with Runt's stupidity, kills him, only for him to come back as a ghost and haunt her?
Needless to say, this is entirely based off on Team Four Star's Dragon Ball Z Abridged and their take on Vegeta and Nappa, who I think of as Rita and Runt's dark counterparts, both in terms of size difference and general personality (and intelligence levels
).Count this as the second time I've drawn Runt as intimidating instead of stupid, even though the character he's playing is pretty much equal parts of both: www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rpAK3…
As for Rita, well, I think the physical abuse she endures in "Kiki's Kitten" is pretty comparable to what Vegeta goes through in any single episode of DBZ Abridged...bonus points for both of them being briefly at the mercy of a giant gorilla.
Being the huge DBZA fan I am, I couldn't resist putting in the Ricola mountain guy at the very end.

i have no idea. that just kinda sprung to mind. when i got the preview of this clearly i was out of my mind to begin with, but i'll try to make sense now.
okay.. start with the background. Speedpainting with Gui... i can't recall for the life of me when i've seen you do a background in this manner. i really like it!!! it's cool how you were able to emulate the actual style of the backgrounds in DBZ while still keeping it Gui.
Runt definitely works as Nappa. no idea how i never thought about that before. hilarious. XD now i'm trying to imagine him bald... and can't

whenever there's a doubt in my mind that you can pull off some kind of detail with a character you just destroy that doubt again and you've definitely done so with Regita here. XD

Dead Poets Society reference!
I've actually tried my hand at speedpainting an entire pic a couple of times in the past (you may remember the 'Dilbert smile-pic'
Speaking of baldness, I never tried to imagine Runt bald myself, I simply thought it was pretty funny that Runt has actual hair and Rita doesn't, a reversal of what Vegeta and Nappa have of course.

This is my opinion, but comparing Animaniacs to DBZ (Or any anime at all) is an insult to it.
But I can tell you put a lot of work into your drawings, so who am I to complain

I don't even like DBZ (or anime in general). Like I said, this is entirely based on the hilarious abridged series fandub, which does a great job in mocking the original show. I never would have drawn this if it wasn't for Team Four Star's work.
