Now I am the master."Some of the best lines in the entire 6 movie series are delivered here (how many times have you heard people say 'if you strike me down I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine'? Maybe it's just the people I hang out with), we see the return of an epic rivalry, and this is the lightsaber duel that captured the hearts and imaginations of nerds everywhere, to boot.
Aside from that, most of my inspiration came from the thought of 'What if they actually had a good stunt choreographer to direct that lightsaber duel?'

I really love the reflections and the blurr of Vaders saber! Great work and beatutiful colors. The action and intensity in this is actually better than the duel in the movie! I really would love to see Old Ben go Yoda Style on Darth in the Classic movie! Great work again!

Obi Wan actually stabbed at Vader in this fight. No one seems to stab. Think about how hard that would be to block.
Really great job with this one, bud! It really captures the berserk hatred that Vader fights with and the straight, proper style of Obi Wan.

Also, it would have been better if they had an alternative to actual neon lightbulbs back then...

I think they were actually triangular metal rods with reflective surfaces on them. They had to install internal mechanisms to rotate the reflective surfaces towards the camera so that the lighting effect would show on film, but after it didn't produce the desired results, they just rotoscoped them.
Neon lightbulbs would have made it cool. Episode II, Dooku vs. Anakin?

wow you did this is 6 hours?! bloody hell you're good. and yeah, I've always liked the first 3 movies better somehow. For one, I thought the acting overall was better. >

The original trilogy definitely has better acting, and they still hold up really well in comparison to today's special-effects and cgi laden hollywood glitz.
